ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Carmen Martinez was born in Nicaragua and raised in Louisiana.
She is an avid fitness pro and has been modeling and bodybuilding since she was eighteen.
Martinez moved to Houston In 2000, where she attended North Harris College before graduating from the University of Houston in Business Management. It was in college that Carmen met her Best Friend Latrece Bell. Over the years, they created a strong bond.
Following Latrece’s tragic death, it took Martinez years to finally come to terms with this incident and of what actually happened. This questioning led her to co-author the book “Another Day with Her”.
Through the book, the nonprofit that she helped form, and through her fitness, Martinez found away to move through her grief and truly help others!
Lora Rosemon’s sister and best friend sadly passed away on April 20, 2011.Latrece (Lora’s sister)committed suicide a day after visiting her doctor. Latrece suffered for most of her life from Bipolar disorder, and after her passing Lora and Latrece’s best friend Carmen created a non-profit together. The non profit is titled Live Beautiful Now and is aimed towards bringing awareness to Bipolar, and to be a resource to the community, also to share our story in hopes of helping others not have to go through the similar circumstances.
Rosemon is a woman of faith and believes that she is never given more than she can handle. She resides in Texas where she runs a podcast and youtube channel.
