ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jacqui Jorgeson is a writer and fourth-generation Californian. She lives in beautiful Sonoma County, which has experienced four major wildfires in the last four years. In the midst of them, she birthed a son, Edsel, and created a nonprofit called Volunteer Fire Foundation. Proceeds from Little Buck the Fire Truck will benefit the foundation, which supports the recruitment, retention, and well-being of volunteer firefighters throughout Northern California.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Elita Elkana is a show creator and character designer with a BAA in Animation from Sheridan College in Canada. She has worked on preschool shows aired on Netflix, Nickelodeon, and Disney Junior; and has an award winning animated film called "Wakalulu." She comes from a family of artists who encouraged her to doodle on the walls of their home when she was little, which was how she fell in love with drawing. Little Buck is her first children’s book illustration.
