ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Coach Courtney Foote, a Texas native, began his acrobatic career as soon as he was able to walk. From pre-school gymnastics classes to training for the Olympics, acrobatics has been a gift and a passion for him. Upon entering high school, Coach Courtney took his acrobatic talents to the National Basketball Association (NBA). He performed acro-dunking and dynamic tumbling for the Houston Rockets for seven seasons. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Houston, he relocated to Southern California. In Los Angeles, Courtney became the cheer coach to the stars on camera and behind the scenes while simultaneously performing for the L.A. Clippers. With over 15 years of coaching experience at multiple gymnastics and cheerleading facilities around the world, Coach Courtney is regarded as an expert in the eld of competitive cheerleading and acrobatics.
